The APGS was conceived in 2007 and was built out of
mostly “Over the Counter Parts” so as not to in fringe on the automotive type
blocks. These engines can be built just about any where in the world if the
builder has access to welding and fabricating shops. Most of these parts can now
be purchased anywhere in the world.
As the air engine progressed in its buildup, many changes were made. Mostly to
rid the engine of excess friction and to reduce the supply of air required to
run the engine overall. Many tests were run on the prototype unit to best
understand the different characteristics compressed air has in running in both
categories of hot and cold pressures. A year went by very quickly but every
change the engine had was definitely for the better. Some changes took longer
than others to accomplish for shop time was hard to get sometimes. But what you
see here is a working model of our prototype.
Just like we have learned about the process of building a successfully running
air engine you can also now replicate this process and learn for yourself. You
may want to assemble the engine to drive generators or small types of auto
chassis to get around town. Maybe a small air powered locomotive designed to do
work around the farm or ranch. There are many possible uses for a system of this
type. You may find that compressed air engines built as we will show you has a
much higher efficiency then what the academic scholars teach in Universities
thru out the world.
The first offering of our company is the “Builders Drawing Plans Kit”.
It consists of a booklet of many pages showing the how to build details. Loaded
with drawings, pictures, and parts required to do the buildup. The Plan set
is available for $279.00
After reviewing all the build details you may want to consider purchasing our
easy to build kits. These kits break the engine down into easy to assemble
parts. Start with the “Cylinder Kits With Valves” then purchase the
“Belt Drive Components Kit”. Last may be the “Shafts and Bearings Kit”.
The generator is to be a 25,000 watt type and comes without any gear
drive housing. It will be a direct drive system and the generator will need to
reach 1800 rpm. Plug in’s are located outside on the side of the generator for
electrical power output. We can supply a generator head or you may consider
purchasing one elsewhere yourself. Eventually we will design our own generator
that will generate and output of power at a much lower rpm and will be able to
run direct drive from the air engines low rpm.
The Heat Reactors will not be supplied. This is because the heat reactors
have to be supplied with the power panel. Since an outside source was used the
schematics are not available for review. Call for details and I will explain.
The Steel Skid can be built in any
shop. But a new design we have configured uses 16 Inch pipe with steel welded
caps assembled into a nice frame. This would hold 1530 cu ft of air supply to
run the air engine for up to 26 hrs. The air engine is built on top of the pipe
skid and will be ready for any additional weld on assemblies. The connections
for the air engine are already fabricated in the pipes for the input air from
the compressor and outgoing air connections for the engine. All welding is ASME
certified for high pressure air. For an extra cost the skid can undergo pressure
testing certification.
The Compressor System is composed of a high pressure electrically
operated compressor that uses 5 hp (3750 watts). This compressor will pump 6 cu
ft of high pressure air to 3200 psi in minutes. The compressor can be sold
separately or with a complete unit. The electrical system is designed for 60 hz.
power. Details on the accessories supplied with each will be posted later.
This air engine design is not a self supporting design and even though the
efficiency is superior than any other air engine built, an outside source of
compressed air is to be considered. This can be accomplished by using a water
wheel from a nearby stream to operate a compressor. Also a windmill may be used
to run a compressor to pump excess air into a hold tank. These are generally a
one time cost and will last 10 years or more.
We would be more than happy to offer some engineering services to help any
customer design build a suitable system for there home or community at extra
cost. An air station may be set up to supply air to several houses thru
underground pipes. Each house having
a air powered generator to supply its own electrical needs.
All sales are final and no refunds will be made after purchase. A Builders
Manual will have to be purchased first before any parts will be sold.
Each manual will come with a embedded serial number and this number must be
given before any purchases can be made by that customer. Each set of plans sold
will be specified for only building of one unit. Multiple purchases of the
manual will be given discount prices depending on the number. Each set of plans
will incorporate a Disclaimer Form that the customer has to sign
and return before any parts are to be sold to them. All overseas orders have to
be prepaid 100 percent in advance before any shipment is sent.
